How do I log in to my online babyTEL account?
You will need the following two pieces of information.
(i)User ID: This is included in your babyTEL subscription Starter Kit.
(ii) Password: This is provided to you during sign-up.
Procedure:
(1) Select Login, located in the top right area of any babyTEL web page.
(2) Enter your User ID in the "User ID" field.
(3) Enter your Password in the "Password" field.
(4) Click on GO.
What are (1) Account Number - User ID, (2) Password, (3) Passcode, (4) SIP Password, and (5) Activation code?
(1) Account Number, which is the same as User ID, is an 11-digit number you receive with the babyTEL subscription Starter Kit. This number is the same as your telephone number. It is needed (along with your password) when you log in to your online babyTEL User Account.
(2) Password is a secure access word that may include upper and lower case letters, and digits (e.g. A1b2c3D). A password is provided to you during sign-up and is needed (along with your User ID) to log in to your online babyTEL User Account. You can change your password by logging in and selecting the "Change my Password" option in the "My Account" section.
(3) Passcode is a secure access number used to access your voice mail by telephone. You receive a temporary passcode with the babyTEL subscription Starter Kit. You can change your passcode over the phone by logging in to your telephone mailbox and selecting "User Options".
(4) SIP Password is a secure access word used to activate the babyTEL service and subsequently configure your Softphone.
(5) Activation code is a secure access word used to activate the babyTEL service. Depending on your subscription, it can either be the SIP Password or the serial number on the babyBOX. The instruction sheet in the babyTEL subscription Starter Kit or the instructions sent to you by email, if you are a Softphone subscriber, will tell you which code to use to activate the service.
Can I change my password whenever I want?
Yes, you can change your password whenever you want. In fact we recommend changing your password periodically to keep your account secure. To change your password, first log in to your babyTEL account, then select "Change my Password" in the "My Account" section.
I forgot my password. What should I do?
Select the babyHELP option from the main menu, then select "Forgot your password?" and follow the instructions on the screen.
How do I change my personal information?
First log in to your babyTEL account. Then select "My Personal Info" in the "My babyTEL Service" section. Make changes as required and click on Save.
How do I see all the calls I made in the last three months?
First log in to your babyTEL account. Then select "My Call Log" in the "My Account" section. Note that all calls are logged instantly. Calls for the current billing period are shown. In the web interface, a link (show previous calls) displays the list of all previous calls
What happens if I make a call from a location in a different time zone?
The time shown in the call log will be the Eastern Standard Time equivalent of the time zone you are making the call from. For example if you place a call from your babyBOX telephone at 20h00 in Seattle, the call log will show 23h00 EST.
How do I update my credit card information?
It is important to update this information when the expiry date of your credit card changes or if you decide to use a different card. To update this information, first log in to your babyTEL account. Then select "My Credit Card on File" in the "My Account" section. Make changes as required, then click on Save.
How can I view my account details?
First log in to your babyTEL account. Then select any of the options in the "My Account" section to view your call log, billing details and credit card information. You can also change your password from this section.
How do I contest my usage charges?
Write to service@babytelusa.com.
(a) Include your babyTEL telephone number and your mailing address for proper identification.
(b) Clearly identify the charge(s) you disagree with, including the date and time, destination, duration, and cost of the call. State the reason you are contesting the charge(s).
If you have reasons to believe that an unauthorized person is using your account, contact security@babytelusa.com immediately. You will be responsible for all the charges up to the time you report the account theft.
How do I subscribe to babyTEL services?
Select "SIGN UP" from the main menu, fill in the form and click on Confirm Order. babyTEL will send you a confirmation by email.
If I have more than one babyTEL line, can these lines be merged into one account?
Sorry, this option is not available at the moment, but we are working on it.
Do you take any other method of payment besides a credit card?
Not at this time.
How will I be notified of rate changes?

How do I return my babyBOX™ to babyTEL?
Step 1
Contact babyTEL at service@babytelusa.com and request a Return Material Authorization (RMA) form. Complete the form and return it to babyTEL. We will then issue an RMA number and send it to you by email.
Step 2
Once you have received your RMA number by email, return the babyBOX along with the cable and A/C adapter in their original packaging to babyTEL. Only complete returns in perfect working order will be eligible for a refund of the activation fee. Ensure that you indicate the RMA number clearly on the front of the package.
